Not everyone loves being in a big class at a gym. My studio is perfect for you if you are looking for a more personal approach.
Classes take place in my home studio in North Raleigh. The class size is small, so that I can give plenty of individualized guidance and instruction. I offer classes in Gentle, Beginner, and Intermediate Yoga. Classes often combine more than one level.
I focus on proper alignment to build a strong yoga foundation. A supportive and accepting learning environment allows each student to practice at her/his own level of strength, flexibility and safety.
My hope is that your yoga practice will help you feel better in your body - physically, mentally and spiritually:
- As you progress, you will become stronger and more flexible, allowing your body to move with more ease throughout your day. Your yoga practice will enhance other sports and fitness activities you participate in.
- A consistent practice will raise your self-awareness and self-acceptance; you’ll feel better about your body – as it is today.
- And as you develop your inner focus, quieting the mind through breathing and meditation practices, you will begin to nurture your best self that lies within you.
